Sesame Street Party

My boys turned 2 on Dec. 12th and after much debate we ended up throwing them a small birthday party. Here is the invitation that I designed for them.

Here are the centerpieces. I kept them really simple because I really didn't have much time to prepare for the party. I used the Sesame Street Cart for the characters but I don't remember what size I cut them. The base is just a formula can that I covered. All of my family really liked them and my boys recognized all their favorite characters.

This was the main table. I made the birthday sign by printing the sesame street group picture with the poster option on my printer; it's almost like a puzzle that you have to put together. Anyways, once I put it together I glued it on a piece of cardboard using Mod Podge. The letters were recycled from the banner from their 1st birthday party.

The goodie bags are just plain lunch bags in four different colors and I just added the birthday logo that I designed to the front of them. I think they look pretty good.

My first Card!!

Well today is Valentine's day!! So Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Hope you guys have a great day!!

Now on to my big milestone in paper crafting!! I finally made my first card!! I made this card for my Hubby! It is a simple, but very cute, card.

The three little hearts are made from my boys' little thumb prints. Isn't that just so adorable!! I stamped their print with red ink, I placed the right and the left thumb diagonally to make the heart shape. Then I cut the hearts carefully and glued them on to my saying (printed on photopaper), trimmed it down to size, inked the edges then glued it on the card. Added the brads for an extra touch and viola!! Simple I tell ya!!
